DataRPM Partners with Cloudera to Provide Smart Machine Analytics For Big Data Oct 2014
DataRPM’s Smart Machine Analytics for Big Data is now Cloudera-Certified
October 15, 2014
FAIRFAX, Va.-- DataRPM, the award-winning provider of smart machine analytics for big data, today announced a partnership with Cloudera, a leader in enterprise analytic data management powered by Apache™ Hadoop®. Under the partnership, DataRPM has integrated and certified its smart machine analytics for big data product on the Cloudera Enterprise platform, Cloudera’s enterprise data hub offering.
The integration and certification allows users to leverage smart machine intelligence for data modeling and ETL on data stored in CDH5.x – a critical component of Cloudera Enterprise, Cloudera’s enterprise data management platform – in order to perform data discovery and advanced data analytics using a simple natural language question-answering interface that delivers visualizations.
"DataRPM’s technology allows business users to quickly and naturally explore data that is stored in a Cloudera enterprise data hub to uncover insight and make better business decisions faster.” said Tim Stevens, vice president, Business and Corporate Development, Cloudera. “This is a powerful capability that enables enterprise customers to improve their business operations and opportunities.”
DataRPM’s award-winning smart machine analytics for big data delivers speed and performance at scale on commodity hardware both on cloud IAAS platforms as well as on-premise. Leveraging the power of cognitive computing, DataRPM solves the problems that traditional, manual approaches could not by automating mundane tasks and empowering data scientists and analysts to focus on more productive analysis. This saves businesses time, effort and money while adding speed, performance and greater efficiency in going from raw data to powerful insights.
DataRPM’s smart machine analytics uses machine-learning algorithms that automatically extract entities and relationships from disparate data in a Cloudera enterprise data hub and build automatic data models, eliminating the need to manually define entities and relationships. The data is modeled in a computational search graph stored in a smart storage layer, empowering business users to do ad-hoc, cross-source data analysis in real-time by plugging into their Apache Hadoop data.
DataRPM ETL has several built-in connectors to various data sources including relational databases, enterprise data warehouses, NoSQL databases and third party services like Salesforce, Quickbooks, MS Dynamics and others. This empowers users to automatically collate data from these disparate sources first into their Cloudera enterprise data hub and then modeled into a smart storage system for ad-hoc analysis.
Finally, it provides a natural language question-answering engine that understands user queries in English and generates automatically visualized results from the smart data lake, making it highly usable by anyone in the organization without requiring knowledge of programming languages.
"We are extremely excited to partner with Cloudera to help them offer rich and insightful big data discovery and analytics to their customers using our highly intuitive, automated smart machine analytics," said Sundeep Sanghavi, Co-Founder and CEO of DataRPM. "Now, anyone using Cloudera Enterprise 5 can simply talk to their data in a human-friendly, natural language and instantly receive automatically visualized answers."
DataRPM will demonstrate its award-winning smart machine analytics solution at the Strata + Hadoop World conference in New York this week. Stop by DataRPM’s booth (#P22 in the Innovators Pavilion) to take a demo and get a chance to win a trip to London, including a private Sherlock Holmes tour.
DataRPM is an award-winning, industry pioneer in smart machine analytics for big data. DataRPM enables Automatic Data Modeling from disparate data sources using cognitive algorithms, eliminating the need to manually build complex data warehouses. Its Natural Language Question-and-Answering interface provides an easy, Google-like user experience, enabling anyone in the enterprise to talk directly to their data.
