GoCheck is a digital health company developing mobile health applications for the early detection and prevention of health disorders and chronic diseases. By using the smartphone as a platform, the GoCheck product line allows for greater accessibility and ease of use of medical diagnostics. The GoCheck Kids pediatric app for amblyopia (lazy eye) screening serves over 6,500 pediatric teams in the U.S. and Europe in their quest to prevent vision impairment, the most prevalent disabling condition among children in the U.S. and many other countries. GoCheck Kids makes early screening simple and affordable, reducing the cost by over 60% by leveraging smartphone manufacturing scale. GoCheck has additional mobile health vision screening applications in development. Gil Kliman led InterWest’s investment in GoCheck and served on the board from 2013 to 2018.
